What is the Peony’s favorite relative? Their ant! (That’s a joke). Peonies have a symbiotic relationship with ants that’s fascinating.

This original painting is 5x7. It is a series of hand painted lithos - where I start with a light line print, ink and watercolor each uniquely. They are watercolor and ink with dip pen on watercolor paper. 

Line art has been my preferred method of working since the beginning of my career. I have consistently delved back into it but always had to maintain my digital career as an advertising illustrator first.  It has not been until recently that I have been able to begin offering original line art pieces for sale.  Art nouveau with a dip pen is where my career began and it’s my core expression.
