About Bruce Brenneise

Bruce Brenneise (pronounced Bren-EYE-zee) is an award- winning illustrator. He is known for world-building via vibrant, epic, otherworldly environments for Magic: The Gathering, Slay the Spire, Numenera and more. He has also been a Chelsea Award Finalist in 2020, 2021, and 2023.

Fun facts: Bruce studied scientific illustration at the University of Michigan (BFA), lived in China for six years, and has traveled thirty-eight countries and counting.
