Tsarina Signet - Circus Poster - First in Series - DCC - Indigo Twilight Edition

$199.99

I am *so* excited to announce the FIRST in the Circus Poster Dungeon Crawler Carl Collection.

This gorgeous Tsarina Signet Circus poster will be available in several different sizes and color schemes as well as limited editions.  An artist proof edition was released at Dragon Con featuring three test colors and Indigo Twilight was the fan favorite selling out in just two hours!  So for the first run, I introduce to you The Elite - Tsarina Signet, Half High Elf, Half Nyad.

After running into Matt at Crypticon (we were booth neighbors) and picking up the Dungeon Crawler Carl books finally, I found myself hooked.  Which is hilarious, because the description didn't originally capture me - but once I started reading - it's just so good.  And I'm not a huge fan of a lot of genres.  However, when I am a fan, I like to make art, just like any artist.  So with Matt's permission, I made art.

The Grimaldi's Circus quest greatly piqued my creative interest - and I've embarked on an entire adventure of corresponding pieces.  The ones following Tsarina will be creepier, as they are corrupt by the vines - so keep an eye out to watch as I create them!

This open edition piece is available in four sizes.  She is signed and beautiful. The larger prints are mailed rolled for safety, and the smaller ones boarded.  I will SOON be posting the limited edition pieces which will include remarques - hand drawn tattoos, which are an integral part of this piece. These will be numbered, although I haven't yet set the edition. Feel free to preorder the limited edition to lock it in, I will contact you before shipping and you can cancel if you have changed your mind on any part of the design.  The open editions will begin shipping right away.

After creating the initial Donut piece, I wanted to create something else.  However, I didn't want it to be just another rendition of Carl in his shorts - there's a lot of great art out there of that already.  Once I reached Grimaldi's Circus, I knew exactly what my next piece would be.

I wanted to create something a little different, a little creepier, darker, but still true to the universe in every way. If you are looking to decorate your space with an unsettling circus vibe, and be a bit different, this quest is for you! This is just the start of a series of corresponding images, and I’m so excited about them. And the best work comes from an artist when they’re excited!

I've done actual posters for several productions - Operas, Circuses, Magicians, Fortune Tellers, Ballets - I even did the official Sixtieth anniversary poster for Carnival in the US Virgin Islands.   I've always been a fan of the creepy circus aesthetic as well as the mystique of the early days of the freak show.  There's an article all about this on my Patreon.

I've already created the backdrop for one of the creepy circus pieces - maybe Holly or the Clowns - and it's amazing.  However, for the FIRST in the series, I moved over to doing what I excel in - mostly naked strong and powerful women.

Seriously, though - I've been OBSESSED with this piece.  My most popular pieces are the ones which keep me up at night, obsessing over them.  Fans can pick out which ones come from my soul - and this is one of those.  So it's going to be a winner.
